The new IR-PR-Corporate Communications practice area will focus on advancing client brand recognition via a full suite of media industry campaigns.
Ryan joins as a Director and will lead PPM’s public relations and investor relations/corporate communications practice. He is a financial services veteran and former journalist-turned-media strategy expert whose nearly 15 years of experience includes framing and delivering investor-centric corporate brand messaging campaigns for a broad range of public companies and startups across multiple industries. Ryan’s areas of expertise include B2B and B2C traditional and social media messaging for consumer product startups, fintech firms, hedge funds, venture capital and private equity firms, mutual fund issuers, and public corporations.

Prior to becoming an independent media strategy consultant, Ryan Gorman served as head of financial services accounts for Kwittken and led several key asset management accounts for Dukas Linden Public Relations. He also worked as a lead reporter for Business Insider, was managing editor of breaking news and original content for AOL News, lead reporter for the London Daily Mail (Mail Online), and a staff reporter for a handful of outlets including the New York Daily News, Mic; and the Wall Street Letter, a financial industry trade publication.
Ryan additionally worked at both UBS and Bank of New York Mellon, holding multiple securities licenses while specializing in investing and allocation services for RIAs, family offices and high-net-worth individuals.
